Sandra Meira Starling

Overview

Ms. Starling has been a Director of the Company since April 29, 2003. She was also Executive Secretary of the Department of Labor and Jobs from January 2003 to August 2003. She has been Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Labour in 2003 and now is Political Assistant to the 1st Vice President of the Senate. She was previously Director of Research and Extension of the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais and a professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology of the University of Philosophy and Humanities and in the Department of Private Rights at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. She was also a member of the House Representatives at the Brazilian Congress, from 1991 to 1999, and leader of the PT & Caucus from 1996 to 1997.
