Richard G. Lesser

Overview

Mr. Lesser, age 73, was Senior Corporate Adviser of the TJX Companies, Inc. from 2002 until his retirement in January 2005. He was Executive Vice President from 1991 to 2001 and Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1999. He was President of its Marmaxx Division (TJ Maxx and Marshalls) from 1995 to 2001. From 1981 to 1993, he held various executive positions within The TJX Companies, Inc. Mr. Lesser has been a Dollar Tree director since 1999. He retired from the Board of The TJX Companies, Inc. in June 2007.
