Crown Holdings, Inc. has selected Raymond L. McGowan, Jr., age 65, to succeed Frank J. Mechura, as President of its Americas Division effective January 1, 2008. Mr. McGowan is currently President of North American Packaging. Along with this position, Mr. McGowan has held the positions of President of the Company's North American Food Packaging business and its U.S. Food Packaging business during the past five years.
