Rajiv L. Gupta

Overview

Mr. Gupta, age 62, joined our Board in March 2005. Mr. Gupta has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rohm and Haas Company, a worldwide producer of specialty materials, from 1999 to the present. Previously, he served as Vice Chairman of Rohm and Haas Company from 1998 to 1999, Director of the Electronic Materials business from 1996 to 1999, and Vice President and Regional Director of the Asia-Pacific Region from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Gupta holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S. in operations research from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance from Drexel University. Mr. Gupta also is a director of The Vanguard Group.
