Mr. Borges Neto was born on September 27, 1951, and was originally elected Executive Officer in charge of institutional matters on September 20, 2005. Prior to joining CSN, Mr. Borges Neto served as Superintendent Officer, Vice-President and Chief Executive Officer at Vicunha Textil. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Companhia Gas do Ceara and of Companhia Ferroviaria do Nordeste, or CFN.
