Pamela G. Bailey
Overview
Pamela G. Bailey is 59, is a member and Chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee, a member of the Science and Technology Development Committee, and has been a director since 2002. Ms. Bailey has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Personal Care Products Council, a Washington, D.C. based trade association that represents the personal care products industry globally, since April 2005. She served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AdvaMed, the world's largest association representing the medical technology industry, from June 1999 to April 2005. From 1970 to 1999, Ms. Bailey served in the White House, the Department of Health and Human Services and other public and private organizations with responsibilities for health care public policy. She is a director of MedCath Corporation, a national provider of cardiovascular services, and a member of the board of trustees of Franklin and Marshall College.
