Nick Land, Born February 6, 1948. A British national, appointed a Non-executive Director of Royal Dutch Shell as from July 1, 2006. He qualified as an accountant in 1970 and was a partner of Ernst &. Young LLP from 1978 until June 30, 2006. He was Chairman of Ernst & Young LLP and a member of the Global Executive Board of Ernst & Young Global LLP from 1995 until June 30, 2006. He is a Non-executive Director of BBA Aviation plc, Ashmore Group plc and Vodafone Group plc, Chairman of the Practice Advisory Board of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, and of the Board of Trustees of Farnham Castle, and a member of the Finance and Audit Committees of the National Gallery.
