Ms. Syms has been Chief Executive Officer and a director of Syms Corp., a chain of retail clothing stores, since 1983. She currently serves on the boards of directors of Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Chapter of the American Heart Association and the New Jersey Economic Growth Council. Ms. Syms also is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University.
