Overview

Lisa Carron Shmerling has been Vice President, Legal Affairs since March 2006. From April 2005 to February 2006 she served as our Deputy General Counsel and from September 2003 to March 2005 she was a legal consultant to Momenta. From 1998 to 2003, Ms. Shmerling served as Associate General Counsel at Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, where she led the negotiation of key strategic biotechnology deals and focused on departmental and interdepartmental strategies and operations. Ms. Shmerling received her B.S.W. from S.U.N.Y. at Albany and her J.D. from New England School of Law.
