Klaus Kleinfeld, President and Chief Operating Officer of Alcoa, since October 1, 2007. Mr. Kleinfeld was President and Chief Executive Officer, Siemens AG, a global electronics and industrial conglomerate from January 2005 to June 2007. Mr. Kleinfeld served as Deputy Chairman of the Managing Board and Executive Vice President of Siemens AG from 2004 to January 2005. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Corporation, the U.S. arm of Siemens AG, from 2002 to 2004. Mr. Kleinfeld served as Chief Operating Officer of Siemens Corporation from January to December 2001. Prior to his U.S. assignment, Mr. Kleinfeld was Executive Vice President and a member of the Executive Board of the Siemens AG Medical Engineering Group in Germany from January to December 2000. Other directorships: Bayer AG. On May 8, 2008, the Board of Directors of Alcoa Inc. elected Klaus Kleinfeld, 50, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alcoa, effective May 8, 2008.
