John K. Clarke
Overview
John K. Clarke, age 53, has served as a Director since July 1998. Since October 1997, Mr. Clarke has served as Managing General Partner of Cardinal Health Partners, a venture capital firm that he founded that specializes in healthcare and life science investments. Cardinal Health Partners was the founding venture investor of our company. Prior to founding Cardinal Health Partners, Mr. Clarke served as a General Partner of DSV Partners, another venture capital firm, and for General Electric Company in various sales and marketing positions. Mr. Clarke is Chairman of the board of directors of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly-held biopharmaceutical company, and a member of the board of directors of Momenta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly-held biotechnology company. Mr. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Biology from Harvard University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
