Chief Information Officer and other management positions, Cook Industries - 1972 to 1979. Company Directorship: Mr. Barksdale is an Independent Director. He was a Director of AOL from March 1999 until the AOL-Historic TW Merger in January 2001, and has been a Director of the Company since that date. Other Directorships: Mr. Barksdale serves as a director of FedEx Corporation and Sun Microsystems, Inc. He also serves as a special advisor to Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a venture capital firm.
