James A. Fitzhenry
Overview
Mr. Fitzhenry joined FLIR in 1993 as Director of Administration and Corporate Counsel, and was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in 1995. Prior to joining FLIR, Mr. Fitzhenry served in the White House under President George H. W. Bush, worked as legal counsel and legislative director to US Senator Mark O. Hatfield (R-Ore.), was appointed Deputy State Treasurer for the State of Oregon and practiced law in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Fitzhenry received his B.A. from the University of Oregon, his J.D. and MBA degrees from Willamette University and has attended post-graduate programs at Stanford University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. On November 21, 2002, Mr. Fitzhenry consented to a Securities and Exchange Commission Order pursuant to which he agreed to cease and desist from committing or causing any violations and any future violations of Rule 13b2-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (regarding reports to auditors), and agreed to a ban on appearing or practicing before the Securities and Exchange Commission as an attorney for five years. Mr. Fitzhenry neither admitted nor denied the findings contained in the Order.
