Overview
John A. Carrig was appointed Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer of ConocoPhillips upon completion of the merger in 2002. Prior to the merger, he was Phillips' Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2001. On October 1, 2008 ConocoPhillips announced that John A. Carrig, currently executive vice president, Finance and chief financial officer, will become president and chief operating officer effective immediately.
