Isy Goldwasser has served as a director since July 2007 and has been with Symyx since our founding. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in 1998 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer in June 2007. Mr. Goldwasser received a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. degree in chemical engineering from Stanford University. From February 1996 to February 1998, Mr. Goldwasser served as the Company's Vice President of Corporate Development.
