Irving W. Bailey, II

Overview

Irving W. Bailey, II, age 65, has served as our director since our spin-off from Abbott in 2004. He will become the lead director effective upon the 2007 annual meeting. Mr. Bailey has served as a Managing Director of Chrysalis Ventures, a private equity management firm, from June 2001 to January 2005 and a Senior Advisor to Chrysalis Ventures since January 2005. Mr. Bailey served as President of Bailey Capital Corporation, also a private equity management firm, from January 1998 to June 2001, and as Chief Executive Officer of Providian Corporation, an insurance and diversified financial services company, from 1988 to 1997. Mr. Bailey also serves as a director of AEGON, N.V. and Computer Sciences Corporation.
