Gerardo I. Lopez
Overview
Gerardo I. Lopez joined Starbucks in October 2004 as senior vice president; president, Global Consumer Products and became senior vice president; president, Global Consumer Products, Foodservice and Seattle's Best Coffee in November 2007. Prior to joining Starbucks, Mr. Lopez was president of the Handleman Entertainment Resources division of Handleman Company from November 2001 to September 2004 and was senior vice president and general manager from May 2000 to November 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Lopez held a variety of executive management positions with Frito-Lay, Inc., Pepsi-Cola Company and The Procter & Gamble Company. On February 3, 2009, Gerardo I. Lopez, executive vice president; president, Global Consumer Products, Foodservice and Seattle's Best Coffee of Starbucks Corporation notified the Company that he will resign from his position effective on February 20, 2009.
