Dr. Lerner has been President of The Scripps Research Institute, a private, non-profit biomedical research organization, since 1986. Dr. Lerner is a member of numerous scientific associations, including the National Academy of Science and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. Dr. Lerner serves as director of Kraft Foods, Inc. He is also on the board of directors for Xencor and Intra-Collular Therapies, two privately held biotechnology companies, and serves on the scientific advisory boards of Dyadic, a biotechnology company.
