Dr. Nachiket Mor
Overview
Dr. Nachiket Mor holds a post-graduate diploma in finance management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Financial Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. He started his career as an officer in the corporate planning and policy cell of ICICI in 1987. He has worked in the areas of project and corporate finance, corporate planning and treasury. Dr. Mor was designated a Senior General Manager of ICICI in 2000 and was in charge of treasury. He was appointed to our board as an Executive Director in April 2001. Effective April 29, 2006, our board elevated him as Deputy Managing Director. He is currently responsible for rural banking, government banking and global markets. Dr. Nachiket Mor sought early retirement from ICICI Bank effective October 19, 2007 and has been appointed as President of the ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, a not-for-profit institution established by us.
