Dr. Hugo Banziger became a member of our Management Board on May 4, 2006. He is our Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Group Executive Committee. He joined Deutsche Bank in London in 1996 as Head of Global Markets Credit. He was appointed Chief Credit Officer in 2000 and became Chief Risk Officer for Credit and Operational Risk in 2004. Dr. Banziger began his career in 1983 at the Swiss Federal Banking Commission in Berne. From 1985 to 1996, he worked at Credit Suisse in Zurich and London, first in Retail Banking and subsequently as Relationship Manager in Corporate Finance. In 1990 he was appointed Global Head of Credit for CS Financial Products. He studied Modern History, Law and Economics at the University of Berne where he subsequently earned a doctorate in Economic History. Dr. Bunziger engages in the following principal business activities outside our company: He is a member of the Supervisory Board of EUREX Clearing AG, EUREX Frankfurt AG and a member of the Board of Directors of EUREX Zurich AG.
