Overview

Doug Lord is president of the North American Solutions Group at Xerox Corporation. He was named to this position in September 2008, expanding the role he assumed in January 2008 as head of the company's U.S. Solutions Group. Lord is also a vice president of the corporation, appointed in December 2007. Lord is responsible for the full portfolio of document management services, technology, and support sold by the Xerox direct sales force in the United States and Canada. Lord joined Xerox in 1976 in Canada and has experience not only in Xerox sales management but also in marketing, human resources, supply chain and customer service. From 2003-2007, Lord was president, chairman and CEO of Xerox Canada, Ltd., leading a team of 4,200 employees who deliver annual revenue of more than $1.2 billion. Prior to joining Xerox Canada, Lord was special assistant to the Federal Minister of Labour on Parliament Hill in Ottawa from 1973-1976. Lord holds an honors degree in economics and political science from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
