Dinesh C. Paliwal
Overview
Dinesh Paliwal, age 49, was elected as a director of the Company on August 13, 2007. He began serving as President, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman on July 1, 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Paliwal served as President of Global Markets and Technology of ABB Ltd from January 2006 until June 2007 and he served as President and CEO of ABB North America from January 2004 until June 2007. He was President and CEO of ABB Automation from October 2002 to December 2005. Mr. Paliwal is a director of Embarq Corporation, a provider of communication services. His current term as a director expires at the 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. In connection with Dr. Harman"s retirement, the Company has announced that Dinesh Paliwal, the Company"s Chief Executive Officer, will become Chairman of the Board effective June 30, 2008.
