Daniel T. Poston, 49, Executive Vice President of the Bancorp since June 2003, and Controller of the Bancorp and Fifth Third Bank since July 2007. Formerly, Mr. Poston was the Auditor of the Bancorp and Fifth Third Bank since October 2001 and was Senior Vice President of the Bancorp and Fifth Third Bank since January 2002. On May 2, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing that Mr. Marshall resigned as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fifth Third on May 1, 2008 effective as of April 30, 2008 and that Mr. Poston, Executive Vice President and Controller of Fifth Third Bancorp, would serve as the Chief Financial Officer of Fifth Third until a permanent successor for Mr. Marshall is named.
