D. Wilson Ervin
Overview
D. Wilson Ervin is the Chief Risk Officer of Credit Suisse and a member of the Executive Board (since 2005). Mr. Ervin received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University, New Jersey, in 1982. He joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 1982 and held various responsibilities, including positions in fixed income and equity capital markets, Australian investment banking and in the Mergers & Acquisitions group. In 1990, Mr. Ervin joined the newly founded Credit Suisse Financial Products, the former derivatives unit of the bank, where he was responsible for new product structuring in the Americas and US corporate marketing. From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Ervin was head of Strategic Risk Management for Credit Suisse First Boston.
