Charles O. Holliday, Jr.
Overview
Charles O. Holliday, Jr. joined DuPont in 1970, and has advanced through various manufacturing and supervisory assignments in product planning and marketing. He is a former president, executive vice president, president and chairman-DuPont Asia Pacific. Mr. Holliday became an executive officer in 1992 when he was appointed senior vice president. He became Chief Executive Officer on February 1, 1998, and Chairman of the Board of Directors on January 1, 1999. He is chairman of The Business Roundtable's Task Force for Environment, Technology and Economy and the U.S. Council on Competitiveness. Mr. Holliday is a founding member of the International Business Council, and a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He also serves as Chairman of Catalyst.
