C. John Langley, Jr.

Overview

C. John Langley, Jr. is The Supply Chain and Logistics Institute Professor of Supply Chain Management and a member of the faculty at the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Langley is also director of Supply Chain Executive Programs at the Georgia Institute of Technology and serves as Executive Director of the Supply Chain Executive Forum. Prior to his September 2001 appointment with Georgia Tech, Dr. Langley served as a professor at the University of Tennessee from September 1973, where most recently he was the Dove Distinguished Professor of Logistics and Transportation. Dr. Langley is also a director of Forward Air Corporation. Dr. Langley received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University.
