Overview
Brian T. Moynihan, age 49, President, Global Corporate and Investment Banking. Mr. Moynihan was named to his present position in October 2007. From April 2004 to October 2007, he served as President, Global Wealth and Investment Management. Previously he held the following positions at FleetBoston Financial Corporation: from 1999 to April 2004, he served as Executive Vice President with responsibility for Brokerage and Wealth Management from 2000, and Regional Commercial Financial Services and Investment Management from May 2003. He first became an officer in 1993. He also serves as President, Global Corporate and Investment Banking and a director of Bank of America, N.A., FIA Card Services, N.A., LaSalle Bank, N.A., LaSalle Bank Midwest, N.A. and United States Trust Company, N.A. On October 2, 2008, Bank of America announced that Brian Moynihan, currently president of Global Corporate and Investment Banking, will become president of Private Equity and Global Operations, effective upon completion of the merger. Mr. Moynihan also will assume responsibility for the Bank of America private equity business, LaSalle Global Trust Services, Enterprise Technology and Delivery, Legal, and Supply Chain Management effective immediately. Mr. Moynihan will continue as president of Global Corporate and Investment Banking until the merger occurs. On December 10, 2008, Bank of America also announced that Brian Moynihan, President of Global Corporate and Investment Banking, has been named General Counsel, effective immediately. On January 22, 2009, Bank of America announced that Brian Moynihan, General Counsel, has been named to succeed Mr. Thain as President of Global Banking and Wealth Management, effective January 22, 2009. Accordingly, effective January 22, 2009, Mr. Moynihan ceased in his role as General Counsel, and an interim general counsel was appointed.
