Overview
On February 26, 2008, the Board of Directors elected Anthony B. Petitt to the position of Vice President and Controller. In this position, he will serve as principal accounting officer of the corporation. Mr. Petitt, x, joined Whirlpool in March 2007 as Assistant Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Mr. Petitt joined KForce Inc. in January 2005 and served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of KForce Inc., a professional staffing service company, from May 2005 until March 2007. Mr. Petitt served as the Director of Accounting Operations for Watkins Motor Lines, Inc., a transportation carrier, from February 2002 until January 2005. Mr. Petitt began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP in 1993, where he was employed as an auditor and later as a manager.
