Overview
Andrew Witty, Appointed on 31st January 2008. CEO Designate. He will succeed Dr Garnier on 21st May 2008. Mr Witty joined the Group in 1985 and has held senior positions in Asia, Africa, Europe and the USA. In January 2003 he was appointed President, Pharmaceuticals Europe. He has served as a board member of the Singapore Economic Development Board. He is a member of the INSEAD UK Council, a Director of the Office for Strategic Coordination of Health Research, sits on the Imperial College Commercialisation Advisory Board and is a member of the Health Innovation Council in the UK.
