Nielsen Chosen by Procter & Gamble to Provide Integrated Services in the U.S.
SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Jul 22, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Nielsen Company announced today it has extended its agreement
with The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG) to provide U.S. consumer
marketing information and insights. Nielsen provides marketing
information services to P&G in more than 65 countries in Europe, Asia,
Latin America, Middle East and Africa.
Under the multi-year agreement, Nielsen will provide P&G with
marketing information and technology services, including retail
tracking, insights on consumer purchase behavior, marketing analytics,
and Nielsen Answers(TM), Nielsen's technology-based business
intelligence solution. Nielsen will help P&G understand and develop
new ways to market to its consumers.
