TOKYO, Jul 08, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- NetApp's (NASDAQ: NTAP) Jon Elerath, PhD, an expert in hard disk
drive (HDD) reliability, will present the address "Demystifying
Reliability of Hard Disk and Solid-State Drives" at the DISKCON(R)
Japan conference in Tokyo, Japan, on July 22-23, 2008.

In addition to his role as senior systems reliability engineer at
NetApp, Jon Elerath is the chairman of the IDEMA-USA Reliability
Committee and actively supports the IDEMA (International Disk Drive
Equipment and Materials Association) mission of setting and driving
reliability as it relates to industry technology standards and
benchmarks for the HDD and optical disk drive markets.

IDEMA is an international trade organization that represents the

              reliability claims.
