Montlake Elementary School

Montlake Elementary School is located in the Seattle neighborhood of Montlake. It offers every student challenging learning experiences that develop higher level thinking skills, creativity and significant academic gains. The Montlake teachers are renowned for their creative instruction reflecting state standards. Spanish, French and chess are offered before or after school. The outstanding arts program is integrated with the study of world cultures in meaningful contexts. The annual Art Walk is a tremendous community event. Test scores far exceed state standards in all subject areas. Montlake's highly involved families fund enrichment programs and enable the school to offer small class sizes for basic skills classes. Students participate in Math Olympiad and instrumental music. Full-day kindergarten is offered, for a fee, but can accommodate half-day students at no cost. Students develop problem solving and leadership skills in the nurturing, supportive, and small learning environment. We celebrate our diverse community of learners!
