FORT WORTH, Texas, May 13, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Teletouch Communications, Inc. (Pink Sheets: TLLE), a leading U.S.
cellular, two-way radio, mobile electronics and related services
provider, today announced that the Company is returning this year as
the official cellular and wireless communications sponsor of the
upcoming 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial PGA TOUR Golf
Tournament, being held May 19-25 at the Colonial Country Club in Fort
Worth, Texas.
Teletouch is providing fully integrated wireless communications
support infrastructure for the event using both cell phones and
two-way radios. The Company's retail division, Hawk Electronics will
be providing cell phones to Colonial tournament staff for transporting
visiting players and VIPs. In addition, this year, Teletouch's Two-Way
Radio Services division will participate by providing the primary
wireless communications infrastructure, hardware and services for the
tournament, including over 250 state-of-the-art Motorola(R) two-way
radios for tournament staff, signal boosters and repeaters, as well as
certain data services on the Company's own DFW-based network spectrum.

The 2008 Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial will have a $6.1
million purse with the winner receiving nearly $1.1 million. Also,
25,000 points will be available toward the new PGA TOUR FedExCup
season-long competition. CBS Sports, a 30-year broadcast partner with
Colonial, will continue to provide weekend coverage, with The Golf
Channel providing early-round coverage.
