NEW YORK, June 26, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX News Network/ -- Liz Claiborne Inc. today announced that
Elizabeth L. Reeves will join the company as Senior Vice President and Chief
Human Resources Officer, effective August 4, 2008. Ms. Reeves will report
directly to William L. McComb, Chief Executive Officer, Liz Claiborne Inc. She
replaces Larry McClure, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Ms. Reeves joins Liz Claiborne Inc. from Lincoln Financial Group in
Philadelphia, PA where she was Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Ms.
Reeves began her career as the head of Human Resources for the largest JB Ivey
and Company (now Dillard's) department store followed by 19 years at GE
Company with increasing human resources responsibilities over a range of
businesses.
