Our mission is to discover, develop, and commercialize innovative therapies to treat patients afflicted with diseases caused by the misfolding of specific proteins. We are committed to developing disease-modifying therapies. Most marketed drugs target the consequence rather than the cause of disease and therefore treat only disease symptoms. We are targeting the cause of disease... We are targeting the cause of disease with the goal of providing drugs that will stabilize or reverse disease. Our lead drug for TTR Amyloidosis, Fx-1006A, is currently in Phase II/III clinical trials.
