Employer Resource Center Partners

Employer Resource Center is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). A PEO is defined as, " an organization that provides an intimate and cost effective approach to the management and administration of the human resources and employer risk of its clients, by contractually assuming substantial employer rights, responsibilities and risk and, through the establishment and maintenance of an employer relationship with the workers assigned to its clients." In the relationship among a PEO, a worksite employee, and a client company there exists a co-employment relationship in which both the PEO and client company have an employment relationship with the worker. The PEO and client company contractually allocate some and share other traditional employer responsibilities and liabilities.
