Design Miami

Design Miami/ will be held 8 - 10 December in the historic Moore Building located in the vibrant Design District of Miami, Florida. Originally built in 1921 as a furniture warehouse, this unique building has four floors of arcaded spaces around a soaring central atrium. Emphatically vertical rather than spread out like a convention center, only three to four of the curated collection of galleries are presented on each floor. In 2006, Design Miami/ will open additional ground floor gallery space facing NE 2nd Avenue in the Moore Building. Considered Miami's creative hub, the Design District is one of the leading centers in the U.S. for furniture showrooms, design companies and art galleries.
