Overview
Cellgate is rapidly advancing a portfolio of innovative anti-proliferation therapeutics, each with the potential to provide new treatment options for patients with diseases characterized by uncontrolled cell division, an underlying cause of many diseases-cancers, age-related macular degeneration, infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases, and vascular hyperplasia, among others. Cellgate's compounds selectively inhibit the uncontrolled growth of cells associated with each condition. Two promising compounds are now progressing through clinical development, and several more are undergoing preclinical evaluation. Cellgate's lead compounds belong to a unique class of medicines known as polyamine analogs.
