Procter & Gamble, Terra Technology to Co-Present at CSCMP Annual Conference

Joint Presentation to Highlight Successes of Procter & Gamble's Demand Sensing Initiatives

NORWALK, Conn., Sep 30, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Terra
Technology, the leading provider of demand sensing and inventory
optimization solutions for consumer products companies, today announced
that David Mills, associate director of global business planning for
Procter & Gamble, and Michael Mastroianni, vice president of supply
chain strategy at Terra, will present "Demand
Sensing-Enabled Supply and S&OP Improvements at P&G"
at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Annual
Conference in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 2:30 PM.
CSCMP is the preeminent association for individuals involved in supply
chain management.

Mills and Mastroianni, the former vice president of North America
planning, reliability and operations at the Campbell Soup Company, were
invited to address how breakthrough advances in demand sensing
technology enabled P&G to achieve design and execution improvements in
the supply network and S&OP. P&G has reduced forecast error more than 30
percent by incorporating Terra's demand
sensing capability into P&G's
industry-leading Consumer Driven Supply Network (CDSN).

Commenting on the upcoming presentation, Mastroianni said, "AMR
Research named Procter & Gamble the top consumer products supply chain
performer in 2008 because P&G leverages its Consumer-Driven Supply
Network to outperform competitors in the marketplace. This presentation
is designed to provide attendees with a first-hand perspective of how
P&G has used demand sensing technology to improve its bottom line with
real-world results that could be applied to other companies facing
similar supply chain challenges."
