BiPar Sciences is a privately held drug development company with a therapeutic focus on novel mechanisms of action in oncology. Our current focus is in DNA repair, specifically with Poly ADP-Ribose Polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. The research leading to our PARP inhibition platform originated at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). BiPar's current portfolio consists of three products: - BSI-201: Lead Product and Clinical Stage PARP Inhibitor (IV) - BSI-401: Follow-on PARP Inhibitor (Oral) - BSI-301: Preclinical Stage Iodothyronine Anti-tubulin Program BSI-201, a potential first and best-in-class PARP inhibitor, is now in multiple Phase 2 trials as both a single agent and in combination with traditional chemotherapy. We have key clinical programs in the following cancers: ovarian, breast, brain and uterine. BSI-201 has shown an excellent clinical safety profile in Phase 1 studies. BSI-401 is our follow-on PARP inhibitor candidate. We are currently investigating it as a potential oral therapy for pancreatic cancer through a sponsored research program at the University of Texas, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. BSI-301 is our lead compound in our iodothyronine program in preclinical development with anti-tubulin properties.
