SAN DIEGO, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Biocept, Inc. ("Biocept"), an emerging leader in biotechnology, announced today the appointment of Stephen M. Coutts, Ph.D. as CEO, President and Director and the appointment of Edward A. Dennis, Ph.D., as Director. Biocept also announced the resignation of its former CEO, President and Director, Gordon F. Janko. "We are pleased to welcome Dr. Coutts, a highly regarded professional in our field, and believe he is a good fit with our development strategy," said Claire K.T. Reiss, Chairman of the Board.
