Yahoo's New Chief's Problems

A new Yahoo C.E.O. who will have several issues to sort through.

There is new hope for Yahoo shareholders and employees who have been frustrated under the leadership of founder and Chief Yahoo Jerry Yang. With the announcement yesterday that Yang is stepping down, Yahoo now seeks a leader who will maximize the strength of the brand and set its share price and revenue back on an upward trend. Some possible successors have been proposed by Wall Street Journal columnist Kara Swisher: News Corp.'s chief operating officer Peter Chernin, former AOL head Jon Miller, former eBay C.E.O. Meg Whitman, and former Yahoo C.O.O. Dan Rosensweig.
