New, but Improved?

Murdoch revamps the Wall Street Journal. Tell us what you think of it.

When Rupert Murdoch took over The Wall Street Journal in December, longtime staffers and readers alike fretted that News Corp. would destroy what made the paper great.

But lately, it seems, the conventional wisdom has been shifting.

Perhaps the shorter articles and broadened focus have made it a more welcoming read. Or maybe, as Slate media critic Jack Shafer says, it's just that the paper's enterprise reporters are on a hot streak.

In any case, a growing number of critics are saying that the Journal is better now than it was a year ago.
