Hedge Fund Art on Display

Last night, art-collector adviser Kim Heirston (left) and other denizens of the art world crowded into the Guggenheim Museum on Fifth Avenue for the opening party of the much hyped "Richard Prince: Spiritual America" show. The show fills the entire Frank Lloyd Wright-designed rotunda and includes work loaned from mega collectors, including: hedge fund managers David Ganek and Steve Cohen, publisher Peter Brant, investor Michael Ovitz, and retail mogul Francois Pinault. Prince's longtime dealer, Barbara Gladstone, helped sponsor the exhibition, along with dealer Larry Gagosian, who would likely want to be Prince's dealer.
