Beach Homes for Kids

ddganek-large.jpg
Publicity shy hedge fund manager David Ganek of Level Global Investors and his wife, Danielle, whose new debut novel, an art world send-up-meets-chick-lit beach book, "Lulu Meets God and Doubts Him," have one of the most impressive art collections on the East End. They may even have the best one. David Ganek was recently recruited to be a Guggenheim trustee, after raking in $4 million for the museum, which also recently hosted a book party for his wife.

The Ganeks are extremely private, so it makes it hard to view the collection unless you're on a museum board or one of their close friends who gets invited to their house on Meadow Lane in Southampton. This Friday, the Ganeks will open their house

Or, you could check it out at the event they're hosting on Friday night for Southampton Fresh Air Home, Danielle Ganek's pet cause. Fresh Air Home provides a summer camp for physically challenged children between the ages of 8 to 22. Tickets for the Friday event start at $100.
