Peter Waldman

Peter Waldman is a senior writer at Condé Nast Portfolio, a monthly business magazine that launched in May 2007.

Waldman joined Condé Nast Portfolio from the Wall Street Journal, where he had worked as a writer and editor for 21 years. During his time at the Journal, Waldman worked in the paper’s San Francisco and Atlanta bureaus. He also served as the paper’s Middle East correspondent, based in Jerusalem, and as the Southern Asia correspondent, based in Singapore.

Waldman’s articles have won awards and citations from the Overseas Press Club, the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics, and Public Policy at Harvard University, the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and the Society of Environmental Journalists.

Waldman graduated with a B.A. in history from Brown University. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and their three daughters.
