Jack Flack

Jack is a lifetime flack. He writes and consults about the interaction between businesses and the news media that cover them. He toiled for 18 highly educational years on three different continents for one of the world’s best-known companies. For several of those years, he served as the principal speechwriter for a legendary C.E.O. In his corporate days, Flack also learned how to talk to Wall Street, wage effective competitive attacks, work without sleep during product recalls, anticipate leaks from government investigators, and convince bosses to trust their 25-year-veteran flacks half as much as newspapers trust their 25-year-old reporters.

Since 2001, he has operated as an independent communications consultant, primarily in the United States and Europe. Flack earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism. He lives in a major U.S. city.
