Christopher Griffith

Christopher Griffith trained to be a research biochemist in the field of genetic engineering before he quit school, four months shy of a Ph.D., to take up photography. Griffin started as a fashion photographer, and his clients have included British Airways, Wrangler, Chrysler, Hewlett-Packard, Toyota, Swiss International Air Lines, and Kate Spade. States, his first monograph, won the silver medal in 2001 for photography and book design at New York’s Art Directors Club.
