Air France's U.S. website hails the A380 as "the world's largest civil aircraft." Otherwise, however, the carrier has been uncharacteristically quiet about the plane, which operates on selected flights to Paris from both New York/Kennedy and Washington/Dulles airports. Air France's version of the plane features four classes (first, business, the upgraded economy cabin that the carrier calls Premium Voyageur, and traditional coach) configured with either 516 or 538 seats. The carrier's unique take on the doubled-decker leviathan: a mezzanine area called the Gallery, open to first- and business-class passengers. It features art and culture exhibits curated by major museums.
